EOC 2022 has signed an agreement with EMIT

The organizer of EOC 2022 has signed an agreement with EMIT to choose the best possible punching and timing service for EOC 2022 in Rakvere, Estonia.

“After having to postpone major events in 2020, it’s the first time when forest orienteering distances only will be held at EOC. Estonian beauty and wild forests await for elite runners to find out the best of the best,” says Raido Jaan Rei, head organizer of EOC.”We are proud to announce that the organizers of EOC 2022, as well as WOC 2022, have chosen EMIT,” says Tommy Jauhojärvi, CEO of Emit AS. «Over the last 10 years, EMIT has shown how we are able to provide the services required for high quality live TV events with our partners.”

“The equipment, knowledge and service required for Results Service for TV is something we offer for many different sporting events all year round,” says Peter Löfås, Project Leader for Emit at EOC 2022.

EMIT has the most commonly used timing equipment in the Nordic countries. During the World Orienteering Championships, EMIT provides full service accompanied with equipment and staff. EMIT teams are highly experienced, with the latest major orienteering events being the World Orienteering Championships in 2016, 2017, 2019 and now also WOC and EOC in 2022. During EOC 2022, EMIT is working in co-operation with Elite Timing from Sweden.
